Course overview
Would you like to learn French in London? Join one of our part-time French courses at our central London Regent Street Campus – just a few minutes' walk from Oxford Circus.
Our beginners’ French courses (Grade 1) start in October and January (2 hours a week) as well as April (1.5 hours a week). If you already have some knowledge of French you can also join part 2 or part 3 of the Beginners’ French (Grade 1) course.
We also have intermediate French classes starting in October each year.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this module, you will be able to:
- At the end of the course you will take a 2.5-hour multiple choice test, which leads to the sought-after PRINCE2® Practitioner certificate.
- critically evaluate a range of relevant literature in terms of its conceptual bases, assumptions and purposes of the authors and of the development of the argument, claims or key points being made
- construct and critically evaluate a proposed educational inquiry with particular attention to congruence between aims, purposes, methods and ethical and interpersonal issues as they arise at each and any stage in the process
- demonstrate a broad engagement with scholarly and research literature in education, both in general and in respect of your subject, discipline and profession
- demonstrate reflexive engagement between your own practice and the material introduced during the module as part of your development as an educational practitioner-researcher
Course Content
The course puts the PRINCE2® concepts into practice and to prepares you for the test that leads to the PRINCE2® Practitioner certificate.
The course begins where the Foundation course left off by going into more detail on each of the themes and processes that make up the method. By the end, we will explain and demonstrate the all-important fourth element of the method, which demands that the method is always tailored to fit the project’s environment.

- the seven PRINCE2® themes
- the seven PRINCE2® processes
- tailoring PRINCE2®
