Accordions and tabs have a very similar role in the management of content.
The use of these two components lets a large amount of content available on the same page by breaking the content into smaller sections.
This then allows the user to show the content that is relevant to them when it's required.
Accordion
Accordions are to be used when space is limited and the content can be broken up into smaller sections.
The best example for the use of accordions is in a FAQ page where each accordion can contain the question and it’s relatively short answer with the body of the accordion.
